Privacy policy

What this site collects, what it does not, and how the analytics consent behaviour actually works.

What we collect

Wearpost has no accounts, no comments and no newsletter form. We do not ask you for a name, an address or a payment detail, and we have no way to identify you personally from a visit.

The site is served as static files from a content delivery network. The network processes standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL — in order to deliver the page.

Analytics and consent

When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which entries are read. The tag runs under Google Consent Mode v2: for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is denied by default, so no analytics cookies are set in those regions. Elsewhere, analytics storage is granted on arrival.

Where analytics is disabled at the site level, no analytics script is loaded at all. We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags or cross-site trackers of any kind.

Cookies set by this site

We set no first-party cookies for preferences or tracking. Any cookies you encounter come from the analytics tag described above, and only where consent permits it.

Outbound links

When you follow an outbound link from a shortlist, you pass through a page at /go on this domain and then arrive at a retailer's site. From that point, the retailer's privacy policy applies. Some outbound links carry an affiliate identifier, which tells the retailer that the visit came from here; it does not give us access to your order or your personal details.

Third parties

The only third party involved in serving this site is the analytics provider described above, and the content delivery network. We do not sell, rent or share visitor data, because we do not hold any.

Your rights

If you are in a jurisdiction with data protection rights — access, erasure, objection — you can exercise them against the analytics provider directly, or write to us and we will explain what is and is not held. In practice, the answer is that we hold nothing that identifies you.
